Choose the Right
Being a good Mormon boy doesn’t keep Kurt from falling in love with Finn Hudson.
It does, however, keep Kurt from calling it love.
inspired by this post: Blaine is lost in the city without a way to get back to Dalton, luckily for him a charming police officer is more than happy to help ~1000 words
Blaine was in deep trouble.
How in the world had he even agreed on going to a gaybar in Columbus without a strategy to get back to Dalton in Westerville? Oh right, ‘spontaneous,’ Sebastian had said, ‘fun,’ he’d added. And where was Sebastian now? Sucking someone’s face off, and he was also in trouble because Dalton curfew was in half an hour and Blaine decided to just leave fifteen minutes ago.
It was a twenty minute drive back to Dalton, if he had a car – which he didn’t. It was an hour and a half by bus – which weren’t going.
Simply put, as said before, Blaine was in deep, deep trouble.
What if … no one had played “Spin the Bottle”?
She was a terrible drunk. The absolute worst. Rachel had announced Spin the Bottle but she’d been making out with Sam the whole night and she just couldn’t take it anymore. She’d judge herself so hard if she were another person but she was her and nobody loved her even though she was so friggin’ awesome and sometimes people crack and rain on your parade Rachel Berry and she just really, really needed to stop crying.
Maybe in 5 minutes.
5 minutes later and she was still crying. Fuck life.
She’d been out back on the kitchen stoop for the last fifty four years - time is making fools of us again, she could hear Sam saying - stupid Sam and stupid Artie and stupid Harry and stupid Ron. This was a time for deep and honest reflection and she had to do it. She had to write her letter to J. K. Rowling and save Hermione before the last movie came out.
Drabble – Parks and Rec AU. Blaine goes to a public forum to ask if the Lima Parks and Recreation department can help fill in the pit next to his house. ~1900 words.
“If there’s nothing else, I think we’ll end there,” Kurt said, speaking loudly over a woman who was complaining that the swing sets in John McKinley Park were painted red when the old, and as Kurt had pointed out, rusted, set used to be green.
“I have something,” a voice from somewhere near the back said.
Kurt sat up straight in his chair, trying to see who would be responsible for yet another meeting going over the allotted two hours. He put on a smile and motioned for whoever it was to stand up. When they did, Kurt blinked in pleasant surprise, his smile faltering as his mouth dropped open for a moment before he closed it. His face flushed pink as he cleared his throat and quickly smiled again. “Yes, hello.”
The man stood up; nervously playing with the hem of the scrubs he was wearing underneath his jacket. He was cute. Painfully cute in a way that had Kurt momentarily deaf. Santana, who was sitting next to Kurt, kicked his leg under the table. When Kurt let out a cry of pain, she simply raised her eyebrows at him, her lips turning up into a smirk. No matter how boring the meeting or tedious the problem, Kurt was always paying attention (someone had to, Santana was the only one who agreed to come and Kurt was pretty sure she tuned most of what was being said out).
Kurt turned back to the man, who looked a little startled. “I’m sorry, what were you saying….?” Kurt smiled encouragingly at him, ignoring Santana’s sigh.
“Oh um, Blaine. I’m Blaine Anderson.” Blaine smiled a little shyly back and continued. “I was saying that there’s an abandoned lot next to my house. Some developers bought it and were digging out a basement for some condos when they went out of business. Now there’s just this giant pit there.”
She is so beautiful. You don’t get tired of looking at her. You never worry if she is smarter than you: You know she is. She is funny without ever being mean. I love her. I am so lucky to love her, Van Houten. You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world, old man, but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices. I hope she likes hers.
I do, Augustus. I do.

jenna ushkowitz; a summary (insp)
The design revisions were:
- Strategic cut-outs shape to fit fingers in such a way that it is easy to bend them and not disrupt the bandage.
- An intelligent dressing material allows you to regularly check wounds from the outside, without upsetting the healing process.“According to research, the when an infection of a wound is detected, the pH value is between 6.5 and 8.5. AmoeBAND’s indicator cross turns purple, alerting the user needs to change it immediately.”
- Since the bandage material used exudes a leather-like feel, availability in different skin-tones helps it blend in, without overly highlighting the injury.
- The packaging has been redesigned to a matchbox style and includes Braille instructions.

it’s always funny when people improve on something and you look at the innovations and it’s like so fucking obvious what needed to be changed, but yet no one seemingly thought of it until then, yourself included
It is too bad journals can’t speak up and give advice or support.
